The bucket tooth of excavator can be said to be a part that drivers love and hate. On the one hand, as the pioneer of bucket, bucket tooth makes excavator shovel earth, chisel stone and dig ditch invincible. On the other hand, the bucket teeth wear out quickly, the replacement frequency is high, and the cost increase makes drivers feel heartache! Why do others always take longer than you to use teeth with similar price? Why do you spend a lot of money on the bucket teeth, and sometimes it's not as cheap as what you bought before? Why on earth is this?
Today, I will give you some ways to extend the bucket teeth of excavators.
1. Practice has proved that the outer bucket teeth of excavator wear 30% faster than the inner bucket teeth during use. It is suggested that the bucket teeth should be reversed inside and out after a period of use.
2. In the process of using the bucket teeth, it depends on the working environment to determine the specific type of bucket teeth. Generally, flat bucket teeth should be used for digging, weathered sand and flour coal. RC bucket teeth are used to dig massive hard rocks, while TL bucket teeth are generally used to dig massive coal seams. TL bucket teeth can improve the coal yield. In actual use, users often like general RC bucket teeth. It is suggested that RC bucket teeth should not be used in general unless it is a special case. It is better to use flat bucket teeth, because after the front of RC bucket teeth is worn for a period of time, the digging resistance is increased like a fist, which wastes power. However, flat bucket teeth always keep a sharp surface during the wear process, which reduces the digging resistance and saves fuel.
3. The driving method of excavator driver is also very important to improve the utilization rate of bucket teeth. When the excavator driver lifts the boom, try not to collect the bucket. If the driver lifts the boom while collecting the bucket, this operation will cause the bucket teeth to receive an upward traction force, which will tear the bucket teeth from the top, thus tearing the bucket teeth. This operation should pay special attention to the coordination of the action. Some excavator drivers often use too much force to enlarge the arm and send the forearm, and quickly "knock" the bucket onto the rock or forcibly throw the bucket on the rock, which will break the bucket teeth, or easily crack the bucket and break the big and small arms.
4. The wear of the tooth seat is also very important to the service life of excavator bucket teeth. It is suggested to replace the tooth seat after the tooth seat is worn by 10%-15%, because there is a big gap between the tooth seat and the bucket teeth, which makes the fit and stress point of the bucket teeth and the bucket teeth break due to the change of stress point.
5. Excavator drivers should pay attention to the angle of excavation in operation, and try to master it when excavating. When digging under the bucket teeth, it is perpendicular to the working face, or the inclination angle is not more than 120 degrees, so as to avoid breaking the bucket teeth due to excessive inclination angle. Also be careful not to swing the digging arm left and right under the condition of great resistance, which will cause the bucket teeth and the tooth seat to break due to excessive left and right forces, because the mechanical design principle of most types of bucket teeth does not consider the left and right forces.
