What are the basic working methods of backhoe excavators

September 06,2022

The basic working methods of backhoe excavator are mainly trench end excavation, trench side excavation, ditch angle excavation method and multi-layer relay excavation, the following four methods were introduced

1. Trench End Excavation

In the excavation of the roadbed, backhoe excavator trench excavation method can be used. In the ditch - end excavation method, the backhoe excavator is located at the ditch end and gradually excavates backward. Dump truck in the ditch side parking, excavator digging boom after rotating 40 ° ~ 45 ° after the material unloading to dump truck body.

2.Trench Side 2.Excavation Method

The excavator is located at the side of the ditch, and the dump truck stops at the ditch end to receive material. After excavation, the boom rotates at a certain angle to discharge. The disadvantage of trench-end excavation method is that the slope of the excavated slope is large, and the width of the trench must be within the excavation radius.

3. Trench excavation method

In the process of excavation of the cutting, there will be some residual trench angle. After excavation, excavators should be used to trim according to the designed slope. In the excavation process, the excavator is located at the end of the trench, and along with the tunneling road, it is digging. The dump truck is located on one side. After excavation, the excavator boom rotates about 45 ° to unload the material, and excavator moves in a zigzag shape.

4. Multi-layer relay excavation method

In order to improve the construction efficiency, multi-layer relay excavation method can be used when high cutting excavation is carried out. This method uses two or more excavators working simultaneously at different working heights, with the bottom excavator passing the soil to the upper level, where the upper excavator loads the soil into a dump truck to increase efficiency.
