For the excavator driver, the track off the chain is a common problem. For excavators, it is inevitable that the chain will be broken occasionally, because the working environment of excavators is relatively harsh, and the track will be broken when it enters the soil or stones.
The track of an excavator is off track, which means that the track is separated from the track composed of guide wheel, roller, driving wheel and supporting sprocket, commonly known as "falling chain", which is a scene that neither the driver nor the owner of the excavator wants to see.
On the one hand, the driver should pay more attention when driving the excavator to turn, and should jack up the crawler to idle when he finds signs of initial derailment. On the other hand, the track often deviates from the track, which also indicates that the chassis itself has problems and needs to be repaired. Let's talk about the reasons and solutions for dropping the chain:
Tracks of excavators are off track.
There are many reasons for track derailment, but they can basically be classified into three categories.
First, because the four-wheel area is not in the same plane, the track is derailed. At this time, it shows that the excavator needs to replace the guide wheel.
Second, because the track is too loose, the track is off track.
The tightness of the crawler belt is adjusted by the tensioning cylinder pushing the guide wheel, and the tensioning cylinder is pushed by the butter gun to adjust the tightness of the crawler belt, but many times the crawler belt cannot adjust the tightness.
If the chain rail pin sleeve is worn out, the pin sleeve of each section must be replaced. However, it seems that few people now "press the chain rail" to replace the pin sleeve, and more people directly replace the chain rail.
Third, due to the wear and tear of the chain guard plate, it does not work, resulting in track derailment.
If you compare the excavator with the chassis of the bulldozer, you will find that some places are different. Even if the crawler belt of the bulldozer is loose, the chain guard of the bulldozer rarely falls off. That's because the chain guard of the bulldozer is a whole block from the drive to the guide wheel, covering all the rollers, while the excavator only has two and small chain guards, one in the middle of the roller and the other in the guide wheel.
Once the chain guard plate is worn, the chain rail is easy to slide out of the chain guard plate, resulting in track derailment. At this time, it is necessary to repair or replace the chain guard.
The method of putting the crawler back.
I don't think there is a certain standard for the method of putting the track back. First of all, the chain beater should be removed, the butter should be released, and the track should be loosened. Then, according to the situation, the excavator bucket should be used to cooperate with walking to put the track back. The easier it is to put the track back.
If the crawler slides out of the track inward, the bucket can't reach the crawler, so it is necessary to use a steel wire rope to pull part of the crawler onto the guide wheel or the driving wheel, and then rotate the driving wheel.
It's just that the operation should pay attention to that the extra slack distance of the crawler should be more at the installation place, which is easier to install. After the guide wheel and driving wheel are installed, the crawler belt is basically installed for more than half, and the roller position can be installed by jacking up the idle crawler belt.
The sprocket supporting part can be directly installed with a bucket. If the bucket can't reach it, there is another way: firstly, jack up the caterpillar, then find a suitable wooden stick to support it between the caterpillar at the sprocket dragging position and the ground, and then slowly lower the caterpillar, so that the caterpillar at the sprocket dragging position will be jacked up by the wooden stick, thus installing the off-track caterpillar.
